9.15am-9.45am: What's next in sustainability strategy and reporting: driving impact through IFRS S1 and S2

This Q&A session will explore how the IFRS S1 and S2 standards are shaping the future of sustainability strategy and disclosure. Our expert panellists will discuss how these standards align with other global frameworks, what materiality means in an IFRS context, and how organisations can prepare for the UK’s Sustainability Reporting Standard (SRS) rollout in 2026. Attendees will gain clarity on implementation pathways and how to use reporting as a tool for meaningful impact.

Roberta serves as technical staff at the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), providing support in the delivery of the ISSB technical work programme. This includes IFRS S1 and S2 standard implementation and industry adoption initiatives. She previously worked at PWC and is a qualified legal auditor in Italy.

She counsels clients on key global frameworks, including IFRS S1 and S2, CSRD, SFDR, Taxonomy Regulation and the UK’s SDR (including TCFD). Known for her commercial insight and practical approach, Rachel also supports clients with governance, greenwashing risks, and sustainability disclosure obligations across jurisdictions.

As we face unprecedented environmental, social, and economic challenges, the need for robust governance structures that can drive sustainable practices has never been more urgent.
